Shipping Policy
This policy describes how Aural Labs packages and ships orders, what to expect from processing and carrier timelines, and how we handle address changes, losses, and damage claims.
Order Processing
Orders are processed in the order they are received. For professional-grade hardware, processing includes verification, final inspection, and protective packaging.
- Standard processing: 1–3 business days for in-stock items.
- Build / test queues (if applicable): processing time may be longer when a product is listed as made-to-order or limited-run.
- Business days exclude weekends and major carrier holidays.
Shipping Methods & Carriers
We ship using reputable carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL) depending on destination, service level, and package requirements.
- Service level: selected at checkout (when available).
- Tracking: provided for all shipments.
- Signature confirmation: may be used for higher-value shipments or when required by the carrier.
Estimated Delivery Timelines
Carrier estimates begin after the order ships. Delivery speed depends on service level, destination, weather, customs clearance (international), and local carrier conditions.
- Domestic (U.S.) typical: 2–7 business days after shipment (service-dependent).
- International typical: 5–21 business days after shipment (service-dependent).
Important: Delivery estimates are not guarantees. If you require guaranteed delivery, select an express service (when available) and plan buffer time.
Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination, package size/weight, and selected service. Any applicable taxes or duties are handled as described below.
International Orders, Duties & Taxes
International shipments may be subject to import duties, VAT/GST, brokerage fees, and other taxes imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout.
- Customs processing times can vary and may extend delivery timelines.
- If a shipment is refused due to duties/taxes, return shipping and carrier fees may be deducted from any refund.
Address Accuracy & Changes
Please confirm your shipping address carefully. Once a shipment is in carrier possession, reroutes or address corrections may be limited and may incur carrier fees.
- Before shipment: contact us immediately to request an address change.
- After shipment: we can assist with a carrier request, but success is not guaranteed.
Lost, Stolen, or Missing Packages
If tracking shows “delivered” but the package is not received, please check with household members, neighbors, and any mailroom/front desk. If still missing, contact us so we can assist with next steps.
- Carrier investigation: we may initiate a trace or claim with the carrier.
- Time window: report missing shipments within 7 days of delivery status for best results.
Damaged Shipments
Our hardware is packaged for professional transport, but damage can occur in transit. If your shipment arrives damaged:
- Photograph the outer box, packing materials, and product from multiple angles.
- Keep all packaging materials until the claim is resolved.
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can initiate a carrier claim and coordinate a resolution.
Split Shipments
If your order contains multiple items, we may ship in more than one package to ensure safe packaging or due to inventory timing. You will receive tracking for each package.
