Used Guitar Inspection Request

Before you buy a used guitar, make sure the deal still makes sense after condition, setup needs, and possible repairs are considered.

Request a Used Guitar Inspection

Use this form when you are considering a used electric, acoustic, classical, or bass guitar and want Gannon Luthier Services to evaluate condition, playability, repair risk, and likely setup needs.

The more accurate the information and photos are, the more useful the inspection review can be. A hands-on inspection is always more reliable than photos alone.

Important: This request form does not guarantee that a guitar is worth buying. It starts the inspection process. Final recommendations depend on photos, seller information, and/or a hands-on inspection.

Helpful photos include front, back, headstock front/back, serial number, neck joint, bridge, saddle, frets, nut, electronics/control area, cracks, damage, and any seller-provided closeups.

Photo tip: Clear, well-lit closeups are more useful than distant full-guitar shots. Include the problem area and at least one full front/back view for context.
